• Question: You go to France occasionally, do you speak fluent french?

      I spent a year studying in France so I was pretty fluent by the end of that time! I haven’t had time to go back for about a year but I know when I do I should still be able to speak French. I also started reading French books sometimes so that I don’t completely forget it all, but I think once you learn a language you remember it forever.

      About twice per year or so and I can speak a little better than my schoolboy french, so I can book a hotel room or direct a taxi, but get stuck when people talk fast in french at me!
