• Question: why do we need fusion reactors?

      I am very concerned about the effect of Global climate change. There are a lot of people in the world and we are on the limit of growing enough food at the moment. If the climate changes this could have a dire effect on the amout of food we could grow somewhere.
      A fusion reactor would reduce the amount of oil, coal and gas we burn to make electricity, so that woujd be really good for the environment. Nuclear fission power stations are better, but the radioactive waste will be a probelm fo hundreds of thousands of years……
