      becoming a dad, probably but that is not what you meant, was it. In my job I think seeing one of the magnets i had helped to design being used to scan patients. I hope to be proud of the first fusion reactor to generate electricity for peoples homes and this is not likley to be until I am well into retirement or, well, beyond that!! Regards Robin

      Presenting some of my work at a conference in Australia. To be able to present you have to submit an abstract (like a summary of what you will talk about) and then a more detailed report. Only when the judging panel decide that your work is good enough can you present it at the conference. It was a really big conference as well, and lots of people came to see my presentation so I was very proud to have got that far!
