• Question: What was your favourite subject at school except for lunch(like everyone else)?

      I loved French. That is why I kept studying French during my engineering course at uni, and why I wanted to spend a year studying engineering in France. I think it is really useful to be able to speak another language, even if it is just the basics and you don’t use it very often.

      Lunch! Yea! I like Maths, and quite liked Physics. I was pushed to do history and once excelled myself by scoring 6% in an exam. I did not carry on with history! Funnily enough I enjoy reading history now.

      Mine was IT. I really like working with computers and am always impressed by the variety of things you can do, from hard calculations to 3D graphics.

      A lot of the skills I use in engineering I learnt by studying IT at school. Especially things like capturing and analysing peoples’ requirements.
