• Question: what do you think the best & most useful inevntion ever is ?

      @siuki98: ·That is a very good question that someone else has also asked, and I had to think long and hard about it. Although I love cars, I think I admire the bicycle more as an invention. (It has been around for an amazing long time compared to cars). For mankind the most useful is probably electricity from which came all the electronics that we all now take for granted. regards Robin.

      Hi siuki98,

      I’m not 100%, but I think Robin may have implied that electricity is an invention. To me electricity was always there, and us humans discovered it and its amazing power.

      I think the best and most useful invention is the humble transistor. I think this electronic circuit component opened a gateway into what is known now as the information age. It is the only component that enables circuits to process “logic” or make decisions based on some inputs.
