@09worrs1: We try to bring order and planning to the working process, but often things go wrong and it is “all hands to the pumps” to complete something., which can be quite fun, as long as it is not too often or for too long. In my last job as a company director the pressure was intense and the speed of things was hectic. I chose to come back to a more orderly job here at CCFE as a staff engineer (it is called down-sizing one’s job) and I would have said it is calm and controlled most of the time, but technically exciting at the same time as we are trying to make something the world has never seen before. Hope this helps. Robin

Mostly calm because I can chose what to do and when. I think when I get closer to the end of the project (when I have to start writing up what I have done and my results) that it will get a lot more hectic as I find all the things I haven’t thought about and have to write about!
