      Yes, I think giving people a chance to experience engineering in a real company is really important. At uni I support students who come to do short research projects with us, and I have encouraged one of the local companies to take on a student during the summer next year too. Work experience has a lot of benefits for both the student and the company (quite often the student might see a better way of doing something that the company haven’t thought of).

      Yes. Apprentices are the work force of the future and if you treat the apprentices right they stay with you and become invaluable members of the team, teaching the nect generation of apprentices.
