• Question: How does your job change the world, is it helping the planet or destroying it?

      Hopefully my research will help the planet by giving us a way of cooling things down without using any fossil fuels. I always wanted to do something with renewable energy because I think it is really important that we stop producing some many greenhouse gases that are harming our planet. I know that just asking people to stop using as much electricity probably won’t work (because who wants to live in a house with no lights, no computers, and no freezer to keep ice cream in?!), so I have always tried to work on something that will help and protect the planet.

      I think my job is potentially helping to save future generations the difficulty of the lights going out when the global warming is so bad that they cannot use oil, coal or gas for electricity produciton and fusion promises a way of having lots of energy with a carbon free exhaust..
