@codecompass: Jet is compared to a three-story block of flats inside an aircraft hanger! and ITER will be significantly bigger. ITER will be the size of an eight-story building in height and have to be housed in an enormous concrete shielding building. ITER is expected to be the size of the first generation reactors unless we discover something startling about the operation of the reactors that allow us to build smaller ones. For now we plan of Fusion reactors being used on the bigger power station sites. I hope this gives you some idea of the size other than looking at the photos on my profile. Do Google ITER and have a look at the pictures on the site. Regards Robin.
