• Question: Hello, i was just wondering if there are any fusion power stations in Britain at the moment?

      @rozza: Good question rossa but we are at the stage of developing the first stages of the process. There are many fission power stations that use large atoms of uranium and split them to release energy, but JET is the biggest and most advanced fusion reactor we have and this is a small experiment compared to the size and complexity of ITER which will be the next stepping stone device to creating the first fusion power station, hopefully in your lifetime.
