      I work in nuclear power and yes, there are many potential dangers, especially if we overlook something like a flood or earthquake. If the nuclear material in a reactor was exposed to the environment it would be a serious problem to ecosystems and living organisms.

      However, my job is to analyse all of these potential risks and minimise them by engineering systems to protect people and the environment. This is what I do almost everyday improve things to keep everyone safer when we turn our new power station on for the first time.
