Question: What did you do for Siemens

At Siemens I used to work in TV and radio. I got to work on different things like:
– power draw from systems
– video encoders (compressors)
– integration of video encoders and subtitle systems
– testing video routers
– testing audio/video circuits
My department in Siemens mainly worked with the BBC and their technology.

@moose: Siemens were the company that took over the company I worked for making MRI magnets for Hospital scanners. It was called Oxford Magnet Technology, part of Oxford Instruments, and then Siemens took it over and it is now called Siemens Magnet Technology and is still going just outside Oxford City… at Eynsham. Thought it would be of interest ….regards Robin
